Advice About Classes...

Okay, some I'm considering transferring for next fall. I'm an English major, so I want a schedule that heavily favors that. I was thinking of taking three English courses, one history, and one additional course (possibly pyschology or even another history). I have two questions:
As it looks above, does this schedule look alright? I really want it to focus on my love of English, because if I end up transferring I want to emphasize that in my application.
My school does have a language requirement for English and I was signed up for Latin I to help complete that. However, since I took Latin up to the AP leve in high school, I was afraid that taking Latin I might look a little slackerish to the colleges if I do end up transferring. Thus, I decided to hold off for a year and if I end up staying, could always take it next year. Is this a good idea?

The MOST important thing for you to do (for being an English major) is to complete the IGETC. Second, you must complete as many pre-reqs for your major as possible (use www.assist.org to search what the pre-reqs of the UC you want to attend; they are all different).

After you do this, then you can take those extra English classes for emphasis.

Just remember: the IGETC will make or break you. Finish these, and you'd have a good chance of transferring (assuming you have a high gpa; the average for English majors accepted to most UCs is 3.5ish)

lol thanks for the advice, but im not from ca and im not trying to transfer to a uc. i actually go to a top 20 school, looking to transfer to yale, harvard, dartmouth, penn, stanford, or chicago. thanks though!

I see. You should probablly preface that so I don't end up looking like a moron :(

Poor Pellman :( LOL

Lol, this forum has long been dominated by CCCers.
And we all automatically assume that people asking question here is to seek advice to transfer to uc. :D
