here's the deal

i have a 2110 SAT (760M, 700R, 650W)

i have SAT 2s (800 math 2, 680 physics, 540 us hist)

i know i can pick all of those grades up and i want to take either the SAT or SAT 2s in October. which should i take to increase my chances of getting into college the most?

predicted SAT: 2220 (800M, 720R, 700W)
predicted SAT 2:
physics: 770-780
us hist: 650-700?

what should i take this October?

cant you also take a test in november? i am planning on taking my SATs in october, and then my SAT IIs in november. why do you only want to take the october test?

maybe because wetardit wants to apply for early decision?
well i think this depends on what your college values more. SAT or SAT II.

Yeah, I think you should retake US hist...what are the stats for the schools you're applying to? 2110 is a nice score for most schools. Look at their stats before deciding what to retake.

If you are applying to a University of California system college, you might just plug in your expected new scores into the UC formula and see whether you think your expected score boost would help more from an SAT I or from two SAT IIs. If you really, truly only have time to take the October test before you apply in the early round somewhere, it might be expedient to redo your two lower SAT II tests, AND take one more SAT II that day--if you can prepare for and endure that much test-taking on one morning. It looks to me like you can pick up more in percentile terms that way, and since some of the very most selective college look a lot at SAT II scores, you don't want to neglect those.

Meanwhile, remember what else matters besides test scores for building a strong application.

Good luck in the application season.
