Advice and Strategies for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

I’m thinking about the FE exam as compensating for my low engineering GPA. My overall is 3.0 but I have some low grades in engineering classes (C- etc.) Will passing the FE in my senior year help considerably in getting jobs after graduation. I think I can pass because though I am a bad student I am a good standardized test taker. So, to an engineering employer will my resume entice?

What field are you in? I hate to say it, but anyone whose resume would benefit from taking the FE exam is probably going to be taking the FE exam, so if it would help you at all, it's probably not going to give you any sort of advantage since everyone else will have it on their resumes, too.

I see. That is a valid point. I am in mechanical engineering. Thank You.

Even though an employer may or may not notice your EIT, they will certainly will when you have your PE. So in any case, just take it and get it over with...
