<p>So there’s essentially two parts to the essay on the CommonApp. Why do you want to transfer, what will you accomplish at your new institution.
For the first part, I basically wanted to say I need to be around smarter people, in the essay, I wrote it as “…my growth is curbed by a critical building block, a lack of significant intellectual growth opportunities.” I went on to talk about my EC’s, which were definitely the strong point of my app, and how I would not only continue them at [schoolname], but use their resources accomplish them on whole new level.</p>
<p>Also, make sure you dont bash your university :)</p>
