advice for a hopeful sophmore???

<p>Hey guys, I was just wondering what I should be aiming for if I want to get into Cornell, Duke, Brown, etc. My first choice would be Yale, which I know would be a slim chance, but it’s my dream =] I’m currently a sophomore, so any help on areas to improve and other info would be very helpful.</p>

3.85 Unweighted (Aiming for a 3.9 Unweighted)
Only student taking two AP Classes their sophomore year (AP Stat and AP Bio)
Rank-top 5% of class
PLAN test: 28/32 (Aiming for a 34 on ACTS)</p>

<p>Your stats look good- definitely Ivy-caliber. Then again, admissions to those schools are so crazy that a lot of very qualified people get denied. Still, if you keep this up for the next two years, you'll definitely be able to get in somewhere very, very good. I got into Brown with extracurriculars that are nowhere near as good as yours. </p>
