Advice for a student with anxiety

Thanks so much for the responses everybody, your encouragement has been very helpful.

to UPDATE, I moved in this morning, and my mom left a bit ago to go back home. My room and apartment are very nice and one of my roommates are starting to move in. I already feel a lot better about this year…its amazing how big of a difference a room can make. The size of my single now is only a little bit smaller than my room last year. My mom thinks that coming home once a month is a good plan, which i agree with, but of course if I got sick again (cross your fingers that doesnt happen) then obviously thats a different story. My other friends move in tomorrow so it will be a quiet night but I’m ok with that. I didn’t feel anxious at all this morning as I moved in or even before which is surprising to me…the main indicator of that is stomach pain which i didn’t have much of!

Stress can make health and other problems so much worse. Learn some breathing exercises to calm yourself. Work out. Light candles. Find ways to chill. Walking does wonders.
