SAT II: Math II 770 US History 710 Chemistry(taking soon ~650)</p>

Rank: top 5% probably 15out of 539
School: public, rarely ever sends grads to top schools maybe 1 or 2 yrly.
Taking 3AP this year and 2 online. Planning to take 5~6 next yr.
Also took 3 college courses at community college. A's in all 3.</p>

<p>Unless you up your SAT score to at least a 2100, you probably won't get into UPENN. The UC may also be a problem, because they have a lot of Asian students, and they tend to accept very few out of state students. But, I think NYU may be a very good fit, and probably the best for an econ major. The fact that you go to a mediocre high-school will also work in your favor, because they will put that into context. My high school is similar, and the students who do get into top schools tend to have relatively low stats, like a 1350-1420 on their sats, compared to 1560s at other schools. You should definitely try out the ACTS too. You sound like you'd do better on that test, because there is more advanced math involved, so you'd probably have a higher score in comparison to other students. Plus, they have 4 sections: grammar, critical reading, math, and science, and that science section would give you a chance to up your composite score as well.</p>
