Advice for Economics Major?

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I am an Economics major at The Ohio State University. Currently, I have a 3.3 GPA. I was wondering if someone could offer me some insight if that GPA is good enough to land an internship? I've been reading most companies like to see a 3.0 GPA, but other students applying could have at least a 3.5.</p>

<p>I am hoping that this will also land me a decent starting job, but I have heard stories of people not getting jobs, and stories of people getting great jobs. Just wanted to hear other peoples views.</p>

<p>What type of internship? i.e. what industry?</p>

<p>Right now I am looking at the banking industry… Just applied for one at Bank of America. I am mostly looking at whatever opportunities are available, and hoping to land one.</p>
