Hey fellow ccers,

I'm just taking a break from working on a project and want to ask a question on CC. So just wondering what you all do the next day after pulling an all nighter or semi-all nighter?

Basically, my situation is that I have three final projects for my AP classes due tomorrow. So far, I've finished 2 (one is movie and the other is a plan for a debate) and I am still working one which requires a lot of more work. I'm projecting that I will finish and sleep at around 2-3 AM, which is obviously no way near an all nighter, but at the same time I know I will be wiped tomorrow, just because I'm always tired unless I can get 10 hours of solid sleep. My issue with this is that tomorrow for one class, like i mentioned before I have a debate (it's cross examination styled) and I want to be awake and attentive during it. Since my on the spot response to my opponent will count for my grade, I want to be as alert and as critically thinking as I can. Any advice on this? Chug a can of coke before hand?

Thanks!

Take a sleeping pill before you go to sleep (I got mine from the highly trustworthy dollar tree ) they’ll enhance your sleep 1h=3h for me, but then again I usually get about 7-8 hours of sleep every night because I like to stay up late. Then, take an ice cold shower in the morning followed up by an energy drink the next morning.
Always does the trick for me! lmao

Delete “The next morning” ^

ive been following this advice lately and its been making my life so much easier
“quantity not quality”
dont try to be a perfectionist–just get the work done
id rather get a 95 on a project with 8 hours of sleep than 100 and 6 hours of sleep

Shower and coffee. Then later in the day, after the coffee’s worn off, an Excedrin for the inevitable headache… Also helps you keep awake, as it has caffeine in it. Chew gum, too.

I personally can survive fairly well on like three hours as long as I go to sleep early the following day…

Drink something with caffeine in the morning, if you feel tired in class ask to go to the bathroom and then get up and walk around. Drink lots of water and eat generally healthy food tomorrow.

I know it’s too late now, but for future reference, sleep cycles work in 90 minute cycles, and it’s best to wake up in between cycles. So try to fall asleep in 90 min before you have to get up, 3 hours, 4.5 hours, etc. Even if you have to stay up a little bit longer, you’ll feel more refreshed. However, I wouldn’t stay up an extra hour for it, because you’ll end up being more tired later on even if you feel good in the morning.

I sleep in my 1st period class.

Drink a five hour energy every hour for five hours straight

Drink red bull with shots of 5 hour energy intermittently.
