Medicine: Step Up to Medicine. Read this cover to cover. That’s all you need for the shelf. I also suggest getting The Only EKG Book You’ll Ever Need for the wards.
Psychiatry: First-Aid. This alone is probably sufficient.
Neurology: Blueprints is terrible (way too general and superfiical). Case files is good. Clinical neurology by Gelb was our textbook and pretty decent for the shelf. High-Yield neuroanatomy if you have time.
Family Med: we had an in-house exam for family med so what I used is probably not applicable.
Obgyn: Blueprints and case files are pretty good.
Pediatrics: first rotation of the year for me. I used case files and blueprints. decent combo but not sure if it’s the best combo.
Surgery: surgical recall for pimp questions, NMS Surgery Casebook, Pestana Review, Casefiles.

I also ordered USMLEWorld Step 2 early on and did the relevant questions for each rotation. Very helpful and definitely recommended.

Radiology: I have that next (applying for radiology this fall).
