I'm applying to Princeton SCEA this year. I'm considering retaking the SAT for the 4th time. However, Princeton accepts score choice so I don't have to send all of scores.

My scores in chronological order:
1. CR - 720, M - 750, W - 710

CR - 700, M - 760, W - 720

CR - 760, M - 750, W - 740

So superscore: 2260

Is that a decent enough score? I get so flustered because I always miss 2 math questions every time. I want to raise it up to the 2300-2400 range. I mean, I really can't focus on much else (except grades) since I turned in my apps in.

I'm thinking of taking the SAT in December, because I, like everyone else, have a significant chance to be deferred by Princeton. I will be more prepared in the regular decision process, as well. Also, 8 out of my 11 schools I'm applying to accept score choice.

Someone want to offer me his/her view?

I got a 2270 on this last test , with similar scores as your october except one more right on the critical reading. I do not plan on retaking the test since I don’t think I can improve without going insane- meaning that I would have to study like crazy trying to only get no or one wrong in all of the subjects, when I am not a very careful test taker. If you have the time and mentality to retake, maybe you should. Otherwise there are more relaxing ways to spend your time.

It annoys me that princeton’s results thread for 2015 isn’t stickied, but I like glancing through other top schools’ stats. I think you will find there are just as many 2300’s rejected as 2200+ (especially 2500+? I didn’t pay that closely to it).

Good luck in the SCEA. If all works out maybe we can be classmates. XD

I looked at the admissions statistics for Princeton, and it really convinces me to at least get in the 2300+ range.

I have time to think this over anyways. The deadline for the Dec SAT is mid Nov.
