Advice for SAT I...

I am sitting the November Reasoning Test, but unfortunately I have barely had any preparation for the exam up until today, and in fact the only day that I have set aside for prep. is the friday before (as I have my end of school examinations on at the moment).

However, I got out my brand new Collegeboard SAT I prep book today and did, for the first time, several practise sections. I found the math fairly straight forward, but I noticed that with the type of questions offered, it appears to be relatively easy to make careless errors on them. Still, the part that I am really worried about is the Writing, whilst I found it rather simple, I scored 28/35 and finished with 1 minute to spare. What's more, I am struggling to find a technique with the extended passages (even though i've only done one) in completing them within the allocated time. I mean, it seems rather stupid to read through half a page of size 10 font, and then start answering questions...

On that note, does anyone have any tips for me, as a virgin in SAT tests, that could perhaps serve me well on the day?? Any help is greatly appreciated, as I have to do very well in the test (an understatement, if anything), because I am applying to some very competitive universities for next year.

no one??

Could someone please rate my essay???

Its pretty hard to read in some cases... and its not my best work but I am still trying to get around the structure required in the exam

"Do changes that make our lives easier not necessarily make them better? Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, or observations"
