<p>The four books I have to read for summer reading this year are awful. The book topics do not interest me at all, but I don't have a choice of another book to read. Any tips or advice for reading but not being bored to death?</p>

<p>samanthania has a point. Planes, trains, and automobiles are all generally great book-reading areas. I, for example, spent my vacation in Europe reading my 6 summer reading books: those 8-hour plane rides, 3-hour layovers, and 5-hour bus rides really helped.</p>
