I have been accepted to Villanova into the College of Arts & Sciences as a bio major, entering in Fall 2009. Is it really impossible to transfer into VSB? Are there are any current Villanova students, Villanova parents or Villanova admissions employees who can give me their perspective? How would I go about it, do I do it now or wait until I arrive for orientation? If I ask to be re evaluated for VSB do I lose my spot in College of Arts & Sciences? Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

bump…anyone?

I believe that you have to have over a 3.5 and then take some sort of summer program. But I’m not completely sure. It is not impossible to transfer in and it happens frequently. I would make a visit to Dean Danko’s office and speak with someone there or just call now to see exactly what needs to be done. I know that spaces are limited. My son is going into his sophomore year as a business major and some of his friends have expressed interest in switching, so I know it can be done, I just don’t know the exact logistics.
