I consistently score lower on math than the other two sections. Normally I get in the 550-630 range on the College Board tests. I got a 610 on the real SAT.

I already have RR and the CB Official Guide. I just got Gruber's today, and the math section looks really good. Do you think this review will be enough to raise my score to around 680-710? Should I get one of those Kaplan math workbooks?

Having never really used a prep book, I can't quite comment on that, but I would advise you to pay meticulous attention to the wording of the problem, especially on the grid-ins. On the PSAT I narrowly missed a perfect score because on one of the grid ins it asked fora number of people (out of like 4000) and I mistakenly put the %.

If you want an intensive study of math, I recommend using the Barron's book. The grubers book is good as well. According to my BB practice tests, my math is my best. It is in the 740 to 760 range.

In addition, the math section always have the same sort of problems, just that the numbers are different. Learn to deal with each type of problem on the SAT.
