Take courses this summer at your community college for college credit or to become more familiar with a subject you are interested in that is difficult.

Go on a vacation trip and take photos.

Don't throw your prep books away. Give them to your younger siblings or friends or sell them on ebay or your local book store.

Don't buy anymore pens or pencils for college. Take the good ones you have now and once you get to college, it will ACCUMULATE!

Do not stress about what to buy for college. That's stupid.

Be on good terms with your parents so they don't worry about you. Do crap for them at least the week before you leave.

If you want a job for some extra college money, go for it, but do not let it consume you.

Don't stop searching for scholarships.

Keep your resume on file and continue to update it.

Pretty good advice.

I'm still using the supply from when we stocked up back in 7th grade. Still have over 20 packs of paper, hundreds of pens and pencils, and dozens of folders. It's pretty ridiculous.

Not only that, but prep books can also come in handy for other subjects when you just need a refresher of something that you learned previously.
