<p>if you're rejected ED, you wouldn't get in RD...if you have a chance, but aren't accepted ED, you'll get deferred, and then possibly accepted RD, so it really doesn't matter. However, the school knows you were serious about attending because of your ED application, which is a plus.</p>
<p>You are you...you arn't these other people. If they want you to attend, then they will accept you or defer you ED. If this is ur #1 college then apply ED and see what happens. You never know...(GL!)</p>

<p>engineering has a high acceptance rate, high yield (i think), and a relatively low number of applicants. this would indicate a self-selective pool of highly qualified applicants who really want to go there.</p>
<p>it's the best in the ivies, but it's really hard to say it's an "X out of 10" on a difficulty scale. Basically it's hard to get in there, though not necessarily easier or harder than any of the other colleges at cornell. it all depends on your college-specific qualifications.</p>
