Advice from current Princeton students

Is there any way to talk to current Princeton students about their application process? I would love to talk to someone who has gone through everything and has some tips on getting in. Maybe there's some kind of group on campus that opens themselves up for questions? (and I don't want to talk to people in the admissions office... they always say the same old stuff )

Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Feel free to message me.

There is always the stickied post for questions that you’d like current students to answer. It hasn’t been too active, but I’d answer any questions there if I see them.

If your question is something that you wouldn’t feel comfortable posting publicly, you’re welcome to message me them as well, if decillion hasn’t already answered them.

Hey decillion ? How could I contact you ?

preine: that’s one avenue to explore – but it’s limited. The same Princeton student may have been rejected at Duke or Williams or Harvard or Penn but accepted at PTon and Yale and UVA (this is no knock on decillion – who I believe was an active contributor to the site when he/she was applying)

There’s a wealth of admissions advice on this site (except for the insanely stupid “Chance Me” forum) from recent grads, parents and alumni volunteers. Asking a 19 YO what got her in may not be very useful.

Search this forum (and other fora of selective colleges) to answer specific questions you may have.

I’ve been dying to ask. T26E4 = Super Pershing?
