<p>hey all
i scored 1860 on the may SAT I... i didn't study at all for it :(..
i'm applying early decision for stanford in november... do you think i should retake it? what is your advice?
here are my other stats:
91 average over both semesters of gr 11 (in ontario, canada), with hardest courses, 95 in grade 12 physics..
i skipped a year last year.. so i'm grade 10 age.. just turned 16
sports:
school varsity basketball (city champions)
jr boys basketball (runners up)
jr boys rugby
jr boys volleyball
sr boys basketball
sr boys volleyball
discus, shotput (ranked 4 & 5 in city)
1 year club basketball (16th in ontario few years back.. pretty bad)</p>
<p>others:
volunteering: building playgrounds/maintenance at youth welfare camp every summer
work: manage local hockey rink in winter, stint as recording engineer
2006 canada wide science fair 3rd in biotech category
harry elton memorial fund bursary winner (trip to shanghai for 2 weeks this summer)
research assistant at university every summer
piano for 11 years (various city awards), DJ as hobby, write some musics as well</p>
<p>on the SAT I, with very little study, I got 570 M, 640 CR and 650 WR...
so if i'm applying to stanford ED what should I do? i'm really thinking of retaking it and studying hard to retake the SAT this fall...</p>
