Advice Needed on which tests to take

I need to take one science and one math test. I took chemistry and math level 2 back in june, but only received a 700 in both. I'm definitely going to take math level 2 again in october or september-whenever it is. My problem is the science. I don't really want to take chemistry again, I don't have many prep resources that were like the test, so I'm wondering if I should take Biology M or Physics. I'll be taking AP Physics B this year but I'm not sure if I'd learn a lot that applies to the subject test by the time I take it nor do I know how difficult it is to self-study for it. I've heard that Biology M is mostly memorization, but I need to get a 750 or higher (in science and math level 2) and I doubt that pure memorization can achieve that. My questions are: 1. Biology M or Physics easier to get a 750 or higher in? 2. What books or online resources? Thanks for your time and help.

good questions, i’m in a similar situation

I am is sort of the same situation. I was definitely going to take Biology M since it is very easy if you have taken AP Biology. Also, I heard that Math 2 has a higher curve and is more challenging so I decided to take Math 2 even though math is not my favorite subject. IMO the chemistry exam is very strange since it doesn’t follow the multiple choice format of AP chemistry/chemistry Olympiad. The physics one is ok if you are strong in physics. I took honors physics and saw that some of the questions I actually knew.

However, in my opinion, to do well on the SAT II you must take a corresponding course in AP. I know for a fact that to understand the breadth of information required on the Bio and US History exams, you must have taken AP and read Campbell and Brinkley or texts of that sort. However, according to most posts, review books are sufficient for SAT IIs, in which case, go with the science that you like the most. If you are doing biology, I suggest you read a few chapters of Campbell (only 10-20 ch for Molecular)
