Advice needed please

<p>Ive always head that after completing your BS, it is advisable to work (in my case) as an analyst for a year THEN return for a MBA. </p>

<p>On the flip side, I've also heard that completing BS and MBA in one shot is better because the opportunities will be better. The problem with this path is..if you go into investment banking with only summer intern experience, the your opportunities will be limited.</p>

<p>I'm a novice here, still doing my research- so be nice :)</p>

<p>You mean through like a joint BA/MBA program? If so, as far as I know, there are few really solid joint/accelerated BA/MBA programs. I could be mistaken.</p>

<p>It's very difficult to get into a top MBA program without work experience. You should have at least 3 yrs prior to pursuing an MBA....avgs at top business schools are generally 5 years.</p>

<p>yeah those joint programs really arent theyre cracked up to be, just a semi-scam.</p>
