Advice needed! princeton review vs. college board

ok, so, over the past summer I've been studying slowly, but surely, for the SAT.
the problem... All of my practice tests have been from the Princeton Review Real SAT's book...
just recently, i learned (thanks to cc) that these are not REAL past SATs! how i could have been so ignorant to this fact im not quite sure..but either way, i went out and bought the collegeboard book today.

Since all my practice tests have come from un-real SAT's, are my scores even close to where they actually are? Do you think this has impeded me at all?

GAH! stupid princeton review and their misleading titles.....
advice anyone?

Your scores may be way off, unfortunately. The best thing for you to do is to take a CB exam as soon as possible, and e-mail me for a score conversion table to score it. Good luck.

Agreed that the scores may be way off, but that doesn't mean you wasted your time. It does mean that you probably didn't get a perfect mix of real question types. Definitely take some real CB tests...and have a little faith that your hard work will pay off. PR books aren't perfect, but they aren't horrible, either.

I'm kind of surprised you didn't know they weren't official tests, but it really doesn't matter. I don't think your scores will be way off. After the CB tests, the PR ones are the most realistic IMHO. So don't sweat it. Get the CB tests and keep going...
