Advice needed: Retake a SAT or take Math II for the first time?

Hey guys, I've just taken SAT and feel that I didn't do that great on math - probably around 710 in the best case scenario - because of a few stupid mistakes in easy questions. My writing and critical reading scores should be in 750+ category.

I am definitely going to take another test on January 22, but I can't decide which one. As a transfer student, I am encouraged but not required to take SAT II tests. So I don't know if I should take Math II and some other subject or just retake SAT hoping for a better math score.

Assuming I can get 750+ on SAT II, what will look better on my application: around 2250+ SAT or 2200 SAT and, lets say, 750+ Math II

I’d say, leave your SAT I score as it is (50+ won’t really make a difference!!) and take SAT IIs. Much better!

Thanks for advice, FrenchieGirl! This is what I am leaning to…

if sat 2 not required, probably its not very important, so sat 1 top priority
