Advice needed - submitted an incomplete essay?!!?

I was just re-reading my common application for a school I applied early action (it’s my safety, but still relatively difficult to get into) and there is a problem with one of my essays.

I assume it is either a glitch on my computer on the common application website, but I noticed that whenever I copy and paste my essays, the final paragraph always gets deleted (so I have to copy and paste it in separately - if that makes sense). I managed to catch this on every single essay I submitted, and double/triple proof-read all of my apps, yet this happened on one of my short essays and the final two sentences (which was a separate paragraph) are not there. It has already been submitted and I am freaking out and my parents are going to be so upset with me. Thankfully, the essay reads relatively well without the final two sentences, but I did a cool things at the end and now it is no longer there. What do I do?? Should I email admissions, or would this draw unnecessary, negative attention? HELP!

Edit

That happened with my D too, had to do it a couple of times and in the preview it showed up. Your’s might have come up in the preview too, did you check?

@ITMon56 Thank you for your response!! I am glad to hear that it happened to some one else - I wonder if common app is glitching? I always said that i would never be the person that submitted a less than perfect application, and look what happened! I am truly devastated. I hope this doesn’t ruin my chances.

Based on the preview, it doesn’t look like it submitted :frowning:

I dont think this will be a big problem, since the essay still reads well without the ending. Dont worry about it too much, after all this is only your safety!
And in the future, when you paste your essays into the box you have to click “view full screen” and then paste your essay into the full screen box— the website will stop cutting off your last paragraph when you do this

This happened to me (but I didn’t send), I ended up going back and just copying the final paragraph and pasted it directly at the end of the rest of my essay, I would recommend emailing/calling the school you sent it to and then asking what they’d prefer!
