I'm taking the SAT soon. As in, about 2 weeks soon. However, my school's finals are the week pf the SAT, and so I am using all of my energy in studying for finals, obviously.

However, I'm concerned about taking the SAT without much prep. (I meant to prep before, but wasn't able to due to general unforeseen lack of time). Can I treat the test as a "practice run"? I already took the PSAT and know my results, but maybe this could be a real practice run?

What I really want to know is if there is any penalty for taking this SAT. I know I can take it again, but I am concerned about schools that ask for all of the SAT scores.

Any suggestions/comments/personal experience?

Should I take the test for real, or go in, take it, and ask for the score to be discarded?
