I'll be self-studying AP Environmental Science and AP Statistics this year.
I wish to begin studying, but...what do I need to study well for both exams? o.o
Are textbooks necessary? Which study guides are good?

I took stats, so I can’t really help you on that one. I just learned from listening in class.

However, for envirosci, I used Princeton Review and the REA Crash Course book. I have a lot of info about self-studying on my blog and stuff. But you should really be fine if you read Princeton Review and have common sense, to be honest. I would caution you now that without biology and chemistry background you may have a little more difficulty than you would otherwise.

It’s a little early to study for those specific courses (you can, but you’ll be learning those topics anyway). I would make sure you have a background in biology before taking Environmental Science, and a background in algebra/pre-calculus before taking Statistics.

Enviro: Polish up your BSing skills; so much of the FR section is just defending plausible BS. Read Princeton Review the night before the exam (or, if you want to be a try-hard, the week before) so that you have some material to BS off of. Throughout the year, though, pay attention to environmental/ecological issues, like fracking or the potential destruction of the Yasuni forest in Ecuador.

I wouldn’t do it the night before the exam, try 3 nights before the exam so you’re not TOO stressed but yea AP Enviro is a joke… most people who take it don’t do well because they just don’t study for it because they don’t even care. Get PR and read it once and take an exam, you should definitely be fine!

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

Aaah, I see. Thank you very much, everyone! :)
