Advice Needed (:

My senior year class schedule:

University Physics (kind of chill)

Government (okay)

AP English Literature (killer course)

AP Calculus BC (killer course)

AP Spanish (uhh…hablo espanol)

Honors Anatomy and Physiology (very tough at my school)

University Human Biology online (assumed to be okay b/c it will probably be similar to anat&phys…so like extra studying for me)

Community College Introduction to Philosophy online (chill = expected)

Four questions:
1+2) Do transcripts specify if it is online or not? Will it hurt if it is online?
3) I have two free periods. Do you think I should fill one up? My counselor won’t allow me to add anymore classes, but I think I can find a way. I usual average 9 classes a semester, but I’ve never taken an AP class (as my school only offers one before snr year). I usually have at least one psychology course, but none this time. I can add Lifespan Development or a stats-oriented one (that’s a follow-up to one I’ve taken before). I’ve always kind of been bio/psych oriented in my class choices.
4) Do you think this is rigorous enough? Two main schools I’m interested in: Stanford and Yale

Other things I will be doing my snr. year include:
-President of Bio club (expect to ask teacher for a rec, so much time needed for this)
-Co-President of American Red Cross Club
-College apps! Yikes. SCEA to Yale.
-Working on my research - maybe (but probably unlikely) entering it in Intel (unlikely I will end up doing this, though…depending on my summer)

So far, I have about a 3.9 UW, 4.3-4.4 W. I got a B+ in the stats-oriented psych class (university level) and a math course - both in my first semester of junior year.

Thanks!

If your counselor will check the little "most rigorous" box then you're probably cool.

You seem good. Ask your counselor about your transcript and most questions. Your courses seem rigorous enough.
Good luck with the Yale SCEA. I'd expect tough competition this year.
