Advice Needed!

I have a friend who is in a filippino system school which is only 10 yrs of school, they don't take any SATs or any other standardized tests and she wants to study abroad say US or UK will she qualify by her 10 yr school diploma or does she have to take other tests to meet their requirements ??
( i know that she has to take the TOEFL for English other than that ?)
Thanks in advance :)

Your friend should contact the colleges she is interested in.

Requirements for undergraduate programmes

Entrance requirements for undergraduate courses (i.e. Bachelors programmes) vary according to the programme applied for and the background of the applicant. As a general rule admissions tutors would ask that the following conditions be met:

Students educated in the Philippine system require at least two years post-high school education at a recognised institution before entering a Bachelor's degree programme at Cardiff.

Please Note: A relevant English Language Qualification is also required.

If your friend ends up applying to American universities, she should strongly consider taking the SAT or ACT (basically, these tests are expected of all international students regardless of their previous academic background).
