Originally I had signed up to be in Spanish 4, but after I had gotten in the class, the teacher decided to change the class into AP Spanish (as she had gone to the AP training session). Because I'm not planning to take the exam in May, should I get out second semester and take regular economics (a one semester course which is a graduation requirement)?
If I do, my transcript will show that I have taken one semester of AP Spanish and the other semester as regular economics.
I was also thinking about doing AP Econ senior year? If I took reg econ and liked it, I still could take AP next year...

Not sure what to do!
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I would avoid dropping the class. If you’re surviving it, just stick with it. It will still look good that you took AP Spanish, even if you don’t take the AP test (I feel like most non-native speakers fail it anyway). Then take AP Econ next year and fulfill the requirement that way.

Thanks everyone for advice!
I currently have an A in the class so it’s not too bad. (I’m still not good enough in the speaking/listening areas to do well on the exam). Anyway, I’m going to see what my counselor says as well.
