<p>I applied to Hampden & Sydney just for the heck of it and I ended up getting a full ride there but I really want to go to either Duke, Cornell, or Johns Hopkins (I also applied to Chapel-Hill, as I'm a in-state resident). My parents are like "H&S is a good school" and unless I get a decent offer from other schools, I'm probably gonna end up going there. Any advice on this situation?</p>
<p>Sure… Enjoy your vacation, apply for lots of scholarships, and wait and see what happens. Then when you and your parents know your options have a great talk together…</p>
