Hi I'm a high school junior at an all girls catholic college preparatory high school. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.0. I have not taken the ACT's at the moment. I'm a part of an international choir, spirit choir, show choir, and church choir. I'm a part of MUN, Quiz Bowl, Science Club (I may possibly be a leader), Science Olympiad, varsity Swim( who has won states, four years in a row and may be a captain but not for sure), Sophomore sisters. I have over 600 service hours, I tutor elementary children in an underprivileged area and I also did an internship in a Marine/Naval health clinic working directly underneath a Captain. I also speak a different language fluently and I play 3 different instruments. Please if there is anything else you think I need please let me know anything i need to improve or something i could add to this application that would make me stand out from the others!

BScott - you have an impressive resume and would encourage you to work on raising your GPA. Also, work hard to practice/prep for ACT and SAT tests. I have taken each multiple (3+) times already and have dramatically improved my scores.

For more comparison to those who have been admitted, below is a link to profile data for the USMA Class of 2014:

[United States Military Academy at West Point](http://www.usma.edu/Class/2014/profile.asp)

I have heard that Class of 2015 was even more competitive and that Class of 2016 will continue that trend this year.

Good Luck!

Definitely apply to USMA SLS. They begin accepting applications in December, and it is rolling admissions, so the earlier the better!
