<p>I don’t know anyone who is going to Davis this fall, so how did people like me, make new friends? What are your experiences? All positive?</p>
<p>It's easy to meet people. Just don't limit yourself to people in your classrooms only. People are like zombies in the classrooms.</p>

<p>It organizes university kids to go white water rafting out on the American River and hiking up at Lake Berryessa, both about 30 minutes from campus. I might join this thing, sounds like alot of fun.</p>

<p>It's really easy to make friends. Remember, we're the more laid back and friendly at UC Davis. My advice especially in the first few weeks is to not go HOME on the weekends and make sure to spend some time doing social things. Your ResHall will provide you with ample opportunities to meet people.</p>
<p>For example, when everyone decides to go to the big football game, put down the books and make sure to go with them. </p>
