<p>So, I'm a veteran who had some college before. Just got out and I'm trying to use my benefits. The college I'm applying to has no essay requirement, but I figured it would look good if I wrote one up anyway. The direction it took was something along the lines of "why I left college/why I think I'll stick with it this time" with examples of formative experiences. Problem is, it goes on a little long.. I managed to pare it down to 761 words from 917, but now I really can't find anything else to cut. Is 761 words too long?</p>
