Advice on PSAT and SAT?

Since both tests are coming up pretty soon, what kinds of methods did you guys use on the (P)SAT?
.

Practice tests, practice tests, practice tests.

For math, I increased my score to high 70(0)s using “PWN the SAT: Math Guide”.

The Blue Book is also a good book to read through (since, you know, it was made by CollegeBoard).

Study over summer before junior year
Use barrons PSAT and go through everything in there
Use reason prep and khanacademy for videos
get as many PSAT practice tests as you can. You can probably find them oniine or pay for them from the collegeboard.

Then take SAT in december and january
Between PSAT and SAT:
Get blue book and at least one book specific for each section like erica meltzer’s books for reading and writing and Dr. Chung’s book for math
Go through Khanacademy videos and reason prep again
Take all blue book tests and then do the QAS that you can find easily online

I have the same situation as you. I’m a sophomore and taking the PSAT in october and the ACT probably in April or June

The simplest way to get a high score is to be very good at math and english.

I did a ton of khan academy, and I’m super confident. I’m going to take the PSAT in a few days, and then the SAT on the thirteenth of October.
