Advice on Senior Schedule

So I am coming to my final year of high school and I am trying to plan my classes.
I am wondering if this is too much, too little, or just right.

My high school does block scheduling. (A/B days)

1 Calculus (dual credit)
2 (Need to add class)
3 Anatomy
4 Community College Course

1 Stats (dual credit)
2 AP English
3 (need to add class)
4 Community College Course

I want to fit in Spanish 4. I will be taking government in the Spring.

Now my question is, I want to take AP Chem for it will give me the experience before I go to college. However, my community college courses are getting in the way. With that being said, Do you think I would be able to take an online course and still get the experience out of it? The online course is taught by a certified teacher. My actual AP Chem teacher would be willing to do an independent study with me along with the online course.

I don't want to overload myself, but I do want to gain the experience to help me succeed in medical school regardless of my AP scores.

Thanks for the advice! Any is appreciated.

why take community college courses? fyi, those classes will count towards your amcas gpa when you apply to med schools, so you better do well in them. just take more ap classes. i took 7 ap classes my senior year. it wasnt bad at all

I have taken every AP course I can at my school except one (APUSH, APBIO, APEng) and I want to take APChem but it wont fit in my schedule. The only AP I do not have is AP Art. I go to a small school, so the challenge would be my community college courses.

No, online Chem is essentially worthless. What makes AP Chem an AP is the national test.

I’d drop HS physio – which is generally not very rigorous – and take a history instead. A strong score in APUSH might free up your college schedule. And depending on your college, AP Art History might fulfill a Core requirement. (Art History is also a great course.)

btw: dual enrollment courses count for med school gpa, so don’t slack off senior year.

If I were to take the AP Chem online, it is affilated with the College Board, so I would be taking the AP test as well as take the class, just not with a teacher face to face rather one via email, phone, etc.

Thanks for the replies!
