Would anyone recommend student loans if someone is looking to room and board? Does any regret taking any? Is there any specific amount you would recommend to take minimum?
I’m a transfer from CC being admitted into several UCs and I’m looking to room and board. I knew that schools were expensive but I didn’t know that my FAFSA Award would be so low. Any advice would be appreciated
The only loan you can take is the federal student loan ($7500/year as a junior and senior). Can your parents help pay? If not, are there any colleges you can commute to from home?

Well I plan to move out of the house. I am either going to dorm, or rent an apartment. Do you know anything about having maximized direct student loans and how they go about?
