<p>I am at Irvine Valley College now, a community college in Southern California, and Berkeley is one of my top schools to transfer to. I was wondering what they look for the most in transfers and what is most important. My major is Public Health, so anyone that has feedback on that that will be greatly appreciated!!! I know they view apps holistically, but I want to know how important GPA, personal statement, and extracurriculars are.

<p>Keep your GPA up. Do your pre-reqs (see assist.org for your major/articulations). Personal statement and ECs can help too, but GPA and coursework are the most important factors, I think.</p>
