Advice Please...LOW SAT scores..

I need advice.

I'm a Junior right now and I just got my SAT scores back.

CR: 660
Math: 450
Writing: 530

Total: 1630

I know. They suck. Please don't tell me that they do, because I already know.

I don't know what happened, I'm a bright kid, and did awesome on the math section of the PSAT.

So really i'm just looking for help, i'm literally crying right now because I feel like my future is ruined.

I'm trying to get into wither UT Austin, Texas State, or CSU..

Thanks!

They suck…
Just joking dude ,
chill!
Take them again with a cool mind and y’all do fine.

I got a 1780 as a junior and got a 2070 in my senior year with just a weeks prep. Not great but shows u just need to hold on dude.
Try to get those upto 2000 or more ul do that easy

review review review! =) my older sister had similar scores junior year. when she took them again in October she got a 2200. that’s only because she devoted time practicing over the summer. even if you just touch up on a lot of basic concepts (math in particular), your score will increase. after all, you’re a bright student!

This makes me think you either choked or your answer sheet got out of synch with the test. If you found yourself doing problems and re-doing them and checking them again, you may have choked–pretty common for someone taking the test while thinking something along the lines of, “I’m smart. I really am. This test will prove it. It has to. I’ll make sure it does.” To check to see if you got out of synch, I think you can pay to get the answers to the test you took–if so, do that and check to see if your answers are shifted up or down one. Whatever the reason, you are in good shape 'cause you’re a junior; you have time! Don’t sweat it.

Try the ACT as an alternative.
