Help please! For summer, I want to go either/or these two routes:
-Study for SAT Reasoning (to take third time) AND SAT II Literature
-Study for SAT Math Level 2 (to take third time) AND SAT II Literature
-Or if I'm super crazy, study hardy for all three (parent's wishes)

I would take the 1st route. Most colleges only require 2 SAT IIs and you already have 750 on Korean so you don’t need to take Math AND Literature. Colleges look at SAT Reasoning more than SAT subject so it would probably be worth it to boost the SAT reasoning score.

My first choice school (Scripps) requires 3 subject tests.

Why would you take Math II in the first place given your major has nothing to do with math? Had I been in your situation, I would’ve gone with one of the history tests instead of math II.

I would encourage you to take practice test exactly like the real thing for the reasoning + math II a few times. Score them, then compare that to your test scores. If practice test scores are significantly higher than your previous scores, go ahead and take the tests again. Otherwise, I would leave the tests alone.

Ouch. English major + 600 CR… Have you tried the ACT? Some people have better luck with certain sections with ACT.

I agree with the above. I scored a dismal 530 on writing alongside a 510 in reading, and got 30’s on both subjects on the ACT. Trust anyone who says it’s easier, because it is. A lot. And before you do that, make sure to practice timing your self with the science section, the timing is a little strict on it.
Also, you’re in at UCI, UCD, and maybe, maybe Pomona and SD. UCLA,UCB,and USC are huge reaches. With your gpa, and your ec’s(not many), you’ll need a pretty stellar essay to get in. But you still have a good shot.
good luck :)

and just saying…no love for UCSB? :/

Why don’t you look at other schools outside of Cali? There are definitely more options that would fit your stats.

In terms of your summer plan, I would go with option 1. I took the SAT a third time, and it worked out amazingly for me. And, speaking as a fellow Korean, if you don’t study, your parents are bound to whip you :P

224 in PSAT is pretty high.

for comparison, i had 200 and 207 on my sophomore and junior PSAT, and got 2230 and 2300 on my Junior SATs, so… I would try taking it a third time with sufficient study

Just one thing, tho.
I’m a fellow Korean, and athough the number 750 out of 800 on your Korean w/ listening seems pretty high, it is actually a pretty low score. I just checked, and an 800 on the korean test is 66th percentile, and a 750 is only at the 21st percentile! A score of 750 means you did way worse than half of the test takers.

In addition, as you are half Korean, I don’t think colleges will look that favorably on that score. If I were you, I would make sure to take more subject tests to replace it You are actually the first person I saw both online or offline who didn’t get an 800 on the Korean test, not to make you feel bad, but to give you an idea.

^Actually, I think she is full Korean.

Anyways, you’re in at Irvine and Davis. SD is a reach. LA and Berkeley are high reaches. I suggest the third option for studying, but make sure that if you take your standardized tests again, you’ll have a significantly higher score. UCs require all scores to be sent in.
