Advice please on Enironmental Science programs

I'm deciding between Juniata College, Richard Stockton College, and SUNY Plattsburgh. I have a 3.85 and PTK member at my CC and will be graduating this June. Any advice about the three programs. Price is a factor. Thank you.

Storm, you will get advice if you post a few more specifics. what does “price is a factor” mean- do you know the out of pocket costs of each of these options yet? And are any of these schools in commuting distance to your home to save on room and board? Are you instate for Plattsburgh? And why environmental- what particular interests do you have? Have you taken out loans for the CC and if so, what is your total loan amount so far? Are you parents helping you financially? Etc.

You haven’t posted enough for people here to help you.

Thank you blossom. Price means mid to low $20,000. No, these schools are not in commuting distance. I would like to have the experience of living away from home. I live in New Jersey. Richard Stockton College is the only one of the three that are instate. I have no loans/debt because I was lucky enough to receive a NJSTARS scholarship. The NJStars scholarship is awarded to students who are in the top 10% of their high school graduating class and score a certain number on their SAT. The scholarship pays for the students total tuition at any community college in NJ. Yes, I know how lucky I am!! Juniata has offered me around a $24,000 scholarship for my grades, PTK member, and being a STEM student. Also, it is possible to also be receiving one other scholarship from Juniata but I will not find out until the Spring. I believe it will cost me around $23,000 (regular cost is around $47,000), Richard Stockton will cost around 20k, and Plattsburgh U 25K. I would be receiving small scholarships (about 4k) for both Plattsburgh and Stockton. I am interested in Environmental Chemistry (like field work/labs). My parents and I will be taking loans out to pay for school. I probably won’t receive financial aid because as my parents like to say they’re the middle class poor. I am not interested in a large university such as Rutgers for my undergraduate work as I am quiet/shy person. I have also been accepted to Misericordia, Lebanon Valley, Rider U, Ramapo, York, and Georgian Court U, but did not feel they would be right for me.

Did you look into SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry?

Well that’s embarrassing I just realized I spelled the word environmental wrong in my title!!! Perhaps that’s why I only received one response too…lol.

I have not, but I will take a look at the website. Thanks.
