But i've planned to apply to american colleges 4 entry fall 2010 and i'm not planning on taking a gap year next year.i realli had ma heart set on going to college in America but now i think there's no point. i jus wanted some truthful adivce on whether it's still worth me applying to America or shud i jus stick to goin to uni at home.

Hmmm. You can get into some American colleges with those scores, but would it be worth the money coming all the way to America? Did you not sign up for the November tests?

January is too late for a lot of colleges, but try to retake then and send it in to colleges. You’ll really need to try and improve your score to raise your chances - especially because you’re an international student and competition is pretty stiff.

I think there are some unis who accepts scores from the January session. I don’t have the names in mind right now but you may want to check out that info…
