<p>The only time you’ll find UNC quiet is Sunday and Saturday AM’s. Few kids go home on weekends and kids are always out in the afternoons. I would avoid a Saturday of a home football game as the traffic is daunting. There are places to check out on Saturdays such as brunch on Franklin Street. If you D is interested in music, there is always live music Fri and Sat nights. There are often dance, theater, and comedy performances on campus at night. Not to mention the lectures that go on all the time. Really, the weekend scene is lively, but laid back during the day and you’ll see kids just hanging out. UNC is not a campus that dies on weekends. You’re right, the JO school has a great reputation, but you don’t apply to a specialty school until the second semester sophmore year.</p>
