Advice/shopping list/things to think about for studying abroad in Salamanca, Spain

<p>Hi-
My D will be studying in Salamanca, Spain this fall. She will be in a program from her school and will live with a Spanish family. There will not be another student living in the home. I am wondering if anybody has a punch list of things to bring/shopping lists/ things to plan for. I am presently overwhelmed with other things and I could really use the wisdom of other CC members.

<p>Not a bad idea to search this forum for shared stories about studying abroad. Some issues have been covered pretty well … keeping the communications open, cell phones, travel budget, train versus plane, special food requirements, medical attention, etc. </p>

<p>You can use the google search and use the Search SITE feature. </p>
