Advice

Hey guys,
Okay, I'm a sophomore at a large state university (ASU), and I am really struggling academically. Right now I have a 2.75GPA, and more than likely to go down this semester, as I may be getting a D or F in a class. I think it is the size of the school, (mostly the 300+ student classes) for why I am struggling. I have had a two smaller classes, at around 20-30 students, and I received better grades, and retained A LOT more of the material.
I was a decent student in high school (B+/A-), where I was at a small private school. I truly feel I need a smaller setting to succeed, but will I be accepted as a transfer anywhere? When applying to colleges, I applied to all small schools in the North East, with ASU as the exception. Would it be easier for me to transfer to a school I already applied to, and was admitted to (as of right now, highly considering Iona College, in NY). Will schools even consider me, for a low GPA?

Some of the other schools that I will reapply to: Roger Williams, Bryant, Sacred Heart, Quinnipiac & Lehigh

I would really appreciate any advice from everyone, Thanks!

anyone?

If you don’t feel the school is right for you and your academics are suffering then yes transfer. I have the opposite problem, my school is too small (for me) and want to go to a larger school. YOu’ll get in and write a really good transfer essay :)

Lehigh requires a minimum college GPA of 3.2 to transfer, so you will not be considered there.

Roger Williams, Quinnipiac and Bryant require a GPA of 2.5, so you will be considered.
The lowest GPA of any class that will transfer is a 2.0. So any classes you have below a C, will not transfer.

Sacred Heart requires a minimum GPA of 3.0, so again you would not be considered.
