I am currently looking for some advice about how to go forward with my final two years of high school. I am currently a junior in a private school. I plan to double major in aerospace engineering and political science. I am currently interested in MIT, UMich, GTech, Princeton, and Purdue.

This summer, I spent time planning and analyzing my resume. My plan is to stay with what I have and continue investing time into my current ECs. Also, I plan to join my school's independent research program. I am still preparing for the SAT. After comparing my resume with other resume's of successful applicants, I have started to get a feeling of me making my top choice schools being impossible. Should I still continue forward and hope for the best? or should I make some small changes? Should I consider changing my direction?

Here is my resume:
GPA:3.96
APs: None, since the school forbids students from taking APs until junior year. If my classes go smoothly, I will have 5 APs by the end of the year, all in math, science, and one in computer.
EC:
-Music: I play the flute. Have made all state band and orchestra for the 2 years of my high school, and plan to continue. I play with the best youth wind symphony in my city. Third place in a competition
-Swimming- Varsity, plan to continue swimming for all 4 years in high school.
-Math Team: Qualified for the AIME, some local awards. Trying this year to qualify for USAMO and ARML
-Marching Band: Field Captain and Section leader of piccolo section this year
Volunteer:
Key Club, Service leader at my school, Boys and Girls Club, fix computers at my former elementary school

SAT: 2000-2100

Any advice would be appreciated.
