Advice

I am currently a junior who is beginning to study for upcoming AP exams.

This school year I am taking APUSH, AP Literature, AP Physics 1, AP Spanish 4… along with Honors Precalc & H Orchestra.

Problem is … I’m certain that I’ll take APUSH and AP Lit exams (since I think I can do fairly well on them (4 or 5s)), but I don’t think that I will be prepared for the AP Physics 1 exam. I have a 96 average, but my class is so easy compared to the AP exam. People in my class have gotten 60s on each test and still pull off a 90 term grades. As for AP Spanish, my school divides the AP Spanish Language Curriculum over junior and senior year, so taking the AP exam during junior year is not possible.

so… would taking the AP US History and AP Literature exam, but not physics and Spanish look “bad” when next year rolls around??

I’d take all of the AP tests. Some high schools require you to take the AP tests if you are enrolled in the class. You should probably check on that. Also, I think it looks sketchy on college applications if you took the AP class and didn’t take the test.

My high school/teacher does not require us to take the exam of Physics 1, but I do agree that not taking it would look weird… is it worth taking even if I get a 1-3 / 5??
