I am currently a senior, with major commitment problems on where I should go to school. After graduation, I plan on traveling the country for roughly a year with two friends. I have been convinced to apply this year, and defer my enrollment until my return. I am an avid enthusiast for anything that involves the outdoors, but do not want to go to a totally rural university or college. I am an average student, and to say the least, cannot afford an expensive school, but would like to attend on with some kind of prestige and accountability. I'd like to major in either environmental science and/or philosophy.

Should i account for any other deciding factors?

Advice on schools that may fit my interests?
