i am planning to take sat 1 this September...and sat 2 next year in February..is the time gap goin to affect me?? i am a international student..and can i get admitted for the class of 2011??coz in some forums they have given class of 2012..how does this class system work out??

Class of xx refers to the year you would be graduating from college. For example, the students currently applying and receiving decisions are applying for the class of 2013.

The SAT I and SAT II tests have nothing to do with one another. SAT I is a 4.5-hour ordeal with sections in Math, Critical Reading, and Writing. SAT IIs are 1.5-hour tests in specific subjects you choose; e.g., Math (level 1 or 2, no Calculus in either), History, Literature, some sciences, and foreign languages.

When you register for SAT IIs, you select the subjects you want to test on. Some colleges that require or recommend SAT IIs will expect to see certain tests; e.g., Math 2 and a science subject. Some don’t care what the subjects are; they just want to see a certain number of subjects. You can register for and take up to three subjects in one sitting, but many students report burning out after two tests and finding their third test score significantly lower than the first two. So if you need to report three SAT IIs, you may be better off spreading them out over multiple sitting dates.

ok…but my question is if thr is a 3-5 month gap between sat 1 and sat2…and i have to send both the scores wat do u want me to do??plz help…

If you graduate in 2010 you should be done with the SATs in 2009.
Check collegeboard.com for the tests dates; you seem to have them wrong.

On a side note: posting in correct English is a good practice for the SAT essay.

I don’t think they offer SAT 1 tests in September, but maybe that’s only the policy for The States…
