Hi everybody,

I will finish my Bachelor here in Italy next year and I want to move to US in order to take a M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering.

Actually my GPA is 3.2. I need to take Toefl and GRE next fall. For the English Test I'm quite confident cause I have a Cambridge CAE (Advanced User).

I've seen something about these schools (in order of my choice by now):

Embry Riddle
Purdue
Texas Austin
Minn Twin Cities
Virginia Tech
Iowa State
Illinois Tech (Armour)
Missouri S&T
West Virginia
Oklahoma State
Kansas State

The price for a year goes from the 22k of Oklahoma to the 34k of Purdue (9 credits each semester).

The lowest graduate engineering acceptance rate (2007) is the one of Iowa State, VT, Texas at AU with 22%, followed by Purdue 33%. The others are about 45%.

Which one would you suggest to me?

How are the possibilities of remaning in the US after a M.Sc. (or eventually a Ph.D.)?

Do you have any suggestions? Help me please! ;)

Thank you in advance!

Matteo
