please help me..
i need to raise everything except math..
any tricks, methods?

I've been taking a lot of practice tests and the scores have been fluctuating (except math and reading)
My highest english (practice test) was about 28
highest science was a 32

I really don't know what is going on.
I know which questions I am weak on but I tend to still miss those questions :(

HELP ME!

My son raised his score from a 31 to a 34 with zero studying.

So mere familiarity with the exam will help you.

Two words:
Practice tests. The only thing you can really even “study” is math, and it looks like you got that down pretty well.
So just take some practice, youll be fine

blackandyellow, when I took a practice ACT for the first time and timed myself, I was not able to finish all of the science questions - to my surprise, I ran out of time (and as a result, I had a low score). I have no idea if this situation applies to you, but if you find yourself rushing to beat the clock during the science section, then here’s my advice: do NOT read the passages all the way through. I know, it sounds counter-intuitive, but the ACT science portion is designed so that you only need to know very basic science and don’t even have to fully understand the setup of the experiments/research/etc to answer the questions correctly. All the ACT science portion really does is test your ability to draw conclusions from the available evidence and read graphs/charts. So if you are indeed in the same situation I was in two years ago, then here’s my advice: skip the experiment and head straight for the questions. Read over them, and figure out EXACTLY what you information you need to know to answer each one. Then skim the passages, and read for the answers. Ignore any extraneous information.

I have no idea if this will work for you (maybe you are already doing this), but it’s what I did. I took the ACT only once, and I got a 33 in science on my first try.

I hope some of the advice you are getting helps, and good luck :)

I don’t know if it is any interest to you, but my son raised his ACT from a 31 to a 34 with ZERO studying.

So mere familiarity with the exam alone will likely help you.
